We are thrilled to introduce our new team member, Wiktor Bönke!
Wiktor brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in geology and geohazards, having earned his bachelor’s degree from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in Sogndal. He further honed his expertise with a master’s degree in Structural Geology and Tectonics from the University of Oslo, focusing on structural seismic interpretation using deep learning.
Wiktor’s professional journey includes over a year at Earth Science Analytics AS, where he worked on enhancing the efficiency and quality of deep learning algorithms for 3D seismic structural interpretations. His dedication to advancing geoscience technology aligns perfectly with our mission at Exploro.
Outside of work, Wiktor is an avid whitewater kayaker, spending most weekends navigating the rivers of Norway. Here’s a glimpse of Wiktor in action at the middle Caledonian nappe in the Sjokoladejuvet “Chocolate Canyon” in Sjoa, Heidal.
